Who said that the earliest season 3 episodes had the season 2 intro?

Here's the opening to "The Thief" from the original broadcast run, with the season 3 variation. I know this, because it came right after "Sidekicks" in this montage, which also premiered on September 26. The uploader said he taped all these intros in the order that they aired.

Wikipedia says for half of season three it had the season 2 intro

I don't see it anymore. It must have been re-edited.
