I wish they would come out with the final two seasons. The Antenna TV reruns are great, especially that they're uncut and they show the original broadcast pilot that wasn't on the DVDs, but not everyone gets Antenna TV.

Plus, the DVDs have something that current reruns do not have: The original 20th Century Fox Television logo. It was used on all the episodes up to the early season 6 tapings; later tapings from said season used the version from early episodes of The Simpsons.

Also, Antenna TV now does that annoying "credit crunch" where they start a show while the end of the previous show is still playing. What a dumb thing for a retro channel to do. I get a crappy TBS type place doing it, but isn't Antenna aimed at people who want to see these shows treated with a little respect?

When I watched Mr. B last Saturday and Sunday, the end credits were played in full. Wonder if they only do this on weekdays?

reply

They are doing it on weekends now too... Sadly

Yes, and I do not buy their claims that the "viewers preferred a quicker transition". They just pulled that one out of their asses. Which is why we need the DVDs more than ever.

Also, would it really kill them to put Mr. Belvedere on Netflix and Hulu?

reply

I would like a better version of the last 3 seasons posted on YouTube and I'd like the original pilot to be posted too.

reply

They were not doing the credit crunch thing at all back in the spring when I taped the show. Glad I taped them then.

reply

Did you recored the orginal pilot?
