Greatest TV theme song ever?

I think so

One of the best, way better then Alf's...but it's competing against themes from Cheers, Night Court, Dallas, etc. that are more recognizable. Doesn't mean they're better, as it's just a matter of opinion. Maybe not a theme, but the soundbites from Jerry Seinfeld's show can be recognized in less then a second. I prefer Sanford & Son, Good Times, All in the Family, Star Trek, Twilight Zone...there's a ton.

Mr. Belvedere definitely has the best theme song.

I love that it has a bit of the British classical sound at the beginning!

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

Growing Pains..... end of story

For me it would the "Greatest American Hero" theme song .. but there are so many great TV theme songs from the 80's it's hard to choose the best one!

Yes, I loved this one !

I was always partial to The Fall Guy (Ballad of the Unknown Stuntman) but this would be in my top fifteen, in very good company.

It's one of my all-time favorite TV show theme songs. Written by the people who composed the theme for Cheers-- Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo.
