It has some great characters and some great dialog. Good original comedy!

I rarely expect total realism from a movie. So long as its engaging on some level, which this movie is.

There might be a reason why the realistic, documentary style detention movies, they do all the time remained unknown. Some people find it just too boring to what 8h of teenagers just sitting on a chair doing nothing much. To be honest I also prefer the good original comedies with great characters and great dialogues.
