I'm probably alone on an island, but the crazy town scene in Gymkata feels like it was an inspiration for the opening village level in Resident Evil 4. Of course there is no pummel horse for Leon, but both Gymkata and Resident Evil 4 gave the other worldly feeling in both of those.

shareSince Resident Evil is a series that has always drawn from movie (the original Night of the Living Dead and the upcoming 7th entry The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for example) it's pretty likely the developers of 4 saw this movie, in fact the similarities are too much to be a coincidence in my opinion.
