Anyone else love this song? I have always been a huge 80's music nut, and this is one of the best 80's songs ever in my opinion. One of my favorite aspects from the film is the instrumental score version of Invincible they created. Gives me chills everytime I hear it. Especially the scene where HS is revealed with her hair cut short for the first time.

I wish there was a way to get the instrumental score version of Invincible. Love it almost as much as the actual song. If only this film would get put out on DVD. Great movie, and great song overall.

Was there ever a soundtrack released way back when? Invincible is easy to find via MP3, but you probably can't find the instrumental version anywhere.

No, no soundtrack unfortunately, just the song. Actually I mentioned a few months back that I wished they would have given us a soundtrack, complete with instrumental score.

And I agree, they need to get this put out on DVD...what they need to do is put it on TV, and put it back in the theaters, and then they'd see how much people want to see it. We want to see it, we know people, we talk to people, we tell them what movies we see that are good, we take our friends and our kids to movies we think are good, this movie is good for kids, teenagers, everybody. They NEED to put this back out for everybody to see, and they should do it before we reach the 25th anniversary.

Yeah I wish that it would happen. I know a lot of people hate this film including Pat Benetar herself. But I just love 80's movies in general, and I find this film to be entertaining. Granted it is not perfect. Yeardley Smith gets on my damn nerves in it. Overall though I enjoy the film a lot. I still get chills when I hear the instrumental version of Invincible. As I said earlier, I like it almost as much or as much as the actual song.

The movie and this song are the one of the best of the '80s! I love them both.

It's a real strong and rousing song that's extremely well used in the film.

Yes, it's a great song. And that instrumental version in the movie is also great. I found an instrumental version of that song on youtube. It's not quite the same that is played in the movie, but the movie version cannot be found anywhere so let's listen to that:
