Ok finally on bluray, i dont know why this is not liked but alot people

so ive had this on dvd for years...dvd that I made from a recording from tv, and in the UK its not on dvd or bluray so I ordered it from the US for a total inc shipping of £5.16...bargain

came yesterday and while its a barebones bluray with only a old commentary on the picture is pretty much ok, way better than the dvd also I had this in HD from the internet and it looks better than that, I know people moan about the sound but tbh it sounds fine to me.

The commentary is OKish its from 2008 and tbh not a lot of info is given since it seems Helen slater can not remember 90% of the filming lol

Atleast this was not that barebones that it did not have a menu screen etc, ive waited for jumpin jack flash to come onto bluray for years and it finally did but its that barebones it has no menu at all, put the disc in...a screen comes up with some legal stuff then the movie just starts playing lol

Because this is the stupidest movie of the 80s in a decade of stupid movies

Completely disagree and the 80s had fantastic movies, a lot of my favorite films are from the 80s.

Welcome to primetime b*tch

You couldn't be more wrong. The 80's are considered by many to be a golden age for film.

There are plenty worse movies from the '80s out there. Ok this one is a bit ridiculous with a far fetched plot, but it's nostalgic fun. I used to watch it on HBO all the time. I don't expect new comers to love this, but it's entertaining on a rainy afternoon. And I love the soundtrack!

Going to reply to this long dead post. The Blu Ray actually has a very poor audio track for being on that format. And by that I mean it's the original stereo sound track. The video, as you say, is very watchable though. This film deserves a better release than this. A true cult classic.
