Saint Joan playing on Lloyd's TV...

I have a couple of questions about when Saint Joan plays on Lloyd's TV...why is it black and white? I got the tape today and it's on color, granted a poor color, half of it looks natural, the other half looks like it was colorized after the fact...and insofar as I can tell there's only been one version of it put out so far regarding to color.

And second...did anybody notice that they switched the scenes? When Lloyd turns it on we hear Joan say "I cannot live", and then when the movie comes up on screen she's talking about the lambs and church bells, but in reality she said that BEFORE she said "I cannot live". Exactly how do you explain that sort of goof?

Happens a lot in movies. I guess they figured that not many people would pick up on it. Hell, maybe even the editors didn't pick up on it.

There is a lot of really bad editing in really good films.

Well, here we are almost seven years later, but, I thought I'd answer this question anyway. According to IMDB, this version of St. Joan was filmed in black and white. The version you saw may have been tinted or poorly colorized.
