ok since I am in Europe the shiping costs are quite high (I must be sure a DVD is worth purchasing) so wanted to ask how is the DVD commentary ? did the actors reveal soemthing important or other detals and if yes could you guys say one example
It was pretty cool, but I don't think that they revealed anything major that wasn't already known. They mainly discus things like what it was like filming each scene and what they were like as people back then, and how they looked. It was really interesting hearing them discus the underlying themes of the movie, though.

I guess they didn't speak about stuff like Christian having a nervos brakedown when he had to be dressed disguised as Billie Jean at the end or the scene at the end when Billie Jean was runing towards the abulance and in real life she was knowed down by the extras running behind her ?
They didn't mention Christian having a nervous break down. The only thing that they really said about him dressing up as Bilie Jean was that it must have been really difficult for him, being that he was a 15 year old boy at the time.
Here's another tidbit that I learned from the commentary, though. Towards the end of the movie, during the sequence where she is on the run, hitching rides with all of the Billie Jean look alikes. The scene where she goes underground and there's all those people cheering her, apparently that was supposed to be a rave and there was a whole dance scene that was cut from the movie. That would be so awesome. I wish that would have been on the DVD.
My guess is they didn't want to embaress Christian on DVD track , so they were more "diplomatic"
I also read that in the mall scene Helen overjumped it and eneded up in the waterfall and she was so upset that they couldn't film another attemt for 2 hours
it was also mentioned about the statue at the end that they could NOT get it to burn because it was really cold and wet so they covered it rubber cement (which burns well) BUT they couldn't put it out after they shot the scene
