Who saw it last night?

I fell asleep during Suburbia but I was able to get it on tape when it played during Turner Classic Movie Underground. This is just fantastic, as somebody said before, 15 years before they put it back on TV, and now that it's played, with our luck it'll probably be 15 more, but I got it.

I saw this last nite! For the first time in years. Oh it brought back such nice memories for me, because I lived in Corpus Christi while they were making it. I remember driving around with my father or mother when I was like 10 and seeing the Billie Jean statue all the time. If i'm correct it was right infront of HEB...a grocery story. I kept thinking what an ugly statue. Yeah, but I kept see stuff that I remembered as a kid. Like a 7/11 where my mom used to work at. The street to the Post Office were my father used to work at. And they kept making you think that the beach was right around the corner. Where in reality it was like 15-20 minutes away.

That must've been pretty cool...I was glad I got this on tape cuz the copy I already have ain't all that good and it'd cost me and arm and a leg to buy a new one and we'll probably be waiting around as long for them to put it out on DVD as we'll be waiting for them to put it on TV again.

I was bummed only caught the last 20 mins or so :( I hadnt seen it in years but still knew some of the lines LOL. Watched it a ton of times when I was young. When we got our first VCR, my brother's friend gave us a tape of the movie and i watched it over and over

Sorry to hear that, neb...but as I said before, maybe if we all put it into the suggest-a-movie section at TCM's website, it can show again in a few months...it'll beat the hell out of having to wait another 10-15 years.
