Good moments, fun quotes, still objectively and empirically the worst

"Two men enter one man leaves" "who run bartertown?" "dying time is here" "raggedy man" there is great stuff in this. I still watch this movie with the others and I can fully understand why someone would skip this, but saying its just as good as the others? No freaking way...

George Miller didn't even direct most of this movie

it is shamelessly americanized and reeks of hollywood.

There are few action sequences.... That is criminal in a mad max movie. BUST A DEAL FACE THE WHEEL GEORGE OGILVE!!!!

Its pg-13.

Its not enjoyably cheesy like road warrior (glorious s and m warriors vs the hockey football team) or fury road. Its just embarassing 80's cheese.

The obvious script rewrite shift.

Tina Turners "we dont need another hero". She is great in this, but that song... if there is anything that dates a movie, its having an 80's power theme when the previous two movies openings were orchestral scores. Not to mention the title card is simple white font, they dont even have pride in how the title is presented.

WON'T MAD MAX PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN???????????

It isn't innovative like the other two, instead it attempts to be another 80's blockbuster. Which makes the film even worse when compared to back to the future, goonies, gremlins, predator etc.

I still like it, I just don't think it is even possible to make an argument that this is on par with 1 and 2. Two passion projects vs hollywood crap. Nuff said.

All Mad Max movies are arguably MASTERPIECES, each in its own special way. Miller is a genius.

And no, the movie is mainly directed by Miller and conceived by Miller. Miller was in there all time, Ogilvie just helped and co- directed.
