This movie is BEYOND hopeless

How a cool film series comprising Mad Max 1 and 2 could evolve into this turd is BEYOND me. This one had a stupid plot, stupid music, a totally different overall tone and feel (and not in a good way), God-awful acting by Tina Turner...the list goes on and on. I actually fell asleep during this movie - on my first viewing and on my second viewing as well. Now I watched it for the third time on the Blu-ray and just barely managed to stay awake till the end credits. I'm not going back to this movie ever again.

I love Mad Max 2 (and to a lesser degree, the original Mad Max) so much that yes I went ahead and bought the Mad Max Trilogy on Blu-ray. Besides, the tin package it comes in is pretty cool. This doesn't change my opinion of the third instalment in the series.

This is the most visionary movie of the eighties.
You're myopic!

I don't think it's that bad. I'm ok with most of the movie minus the weird comedic turn it took at the end, especially in regards to the villains.

The only thing good about this movie was the visuals and even then it looked too polished and clean-cut for the grim future it was meant to be. It looked more like a pop video than anything.
