What was the origin of Master/Blaster?
How did the two of them get together? Was any back story for them given in the novelization. Also. why did Master have such strange speech patterns?

He talks that way to everyone so I always figured that was due to him being on a tremendous power trip. Once he's "brought down to size" he stops speaking that way.

Yeah but he spoke to everyone that way, not just Blaster. Even when he was jokingly addressing the crowd after Max confronted him about giving back his vehicle. share
