Schraders bad movies can bore you to pieces in no time flat
As with Mishima. Saw it back around 92. Thought it was nothing much. Trie to watch it again last night. Horrible unengaging movie.
shareCan't say I agree with you on this. I thought Mishima was brilliant. I also loved American Gigolo. Schader is an incredibly stylish and intelligent filmmaker. Mishima in particular has some amazing dialogue, direction, set designs, music, and the cinematography! God the cinematography is like a dream. You are entitled to your opinion, its just disappointing that you don't find his movies very satisfying or original.
