CESSPIT TORTURE SCENE. WAS HE NAKED?

When Sly was lowered into a leech-infested cesspit, was he completely naked? If yes, OUCH!

reply

Nope, he was rocking a simple, brown colored thong while soaking in the doodoo pit. You'd be forgiven for thinking he was in the nude, though. That skimpy, wet thing is so perfectly glued to his body, you'll barely see it's there.

Man, Stallone doing a full frontal in a 1985 mainstream movie would've certainly been hardcore. Just imagine the uproar from the moral guardians, who would've proceeded to absolutely crucify this film.

reply

Interesting. I'm actually quite surprised he wore anything. If the movie taught us something, it's that Sly likes to denude himself. He spend the entire film without shirt, after all.

reply

Yeah I was kind of wondering what was up with the ass shots, there's on in both First Blood and Rambo: First Blood Part II, something I didn't really need to see.

1980's was THE time for gratuitous nudity. Back then you had all sorts of movies, even big budget AAA-titles, showing flesh for next to no reason at all. It's actually one of the things from 1980's cinema that I sorely miss. It clearly set these movies apart from any children's entertainment, and gave them a level of maturity. The message was clear from the start that this is for adults only, and while it allowed for some exploitation for sure, it also didn't treat us like we were some sort of idiots. Back then, flesh did not offend us, and the world was a better place for it.

Speaking of the cesspit scene, I wonder how sick did Rambo get after the mission was over? After all, thanks to the leech bites, he had open, bleeding wounds fully exposed to highly bacterial matter, all just looking to invite a nice infection.

reply

You miss nudity in movies from the 80s? Why? Now you just go online and its available anytime. You don't need movies anymore for nudity

reply

Duude, that shockproof person posted that message like 7 years ago. I don't think he's coming back to reply to your question.

Now, what I wanna know is, were fecal pits like the one from this movie actually used to torture people for real? Like, was that a thing in Vietnam?

reply

Yes, because plumbing wasn't created in the Vietnam jungles until the 90s

reply

Wtf are u on about?

reply

There was no plumbing system in the jungles of Vietnam. Of course POWs were put into pools of animal and human fecal matter

reply

Whst do you mean there wasnt plumbing syste.s in vietnam, yes there was, they were put in filth to suffer

reply

There was no indoor plumbing system in the Vietnam jungles during this time period.

reply

Prove it

reply

I saw it in the movie Missing in Action. There was no indoor plumbing in the jungles of Vietnam

reply

Yes there was watch it again its clear as day

reply

Yes the Vietnamese did actually do shit like that (pardon the pun)

reply

yes sly was naked but pool probably made of melted chocolate and fudge!

reply

Sounds like something from Willy Wonka. If I am ever captured and tortured like that, I certainly hope it is by Oompa Loompas and not the Vietcong.

reply

maybe not chocolate because melted chocolate in mexican sun attract many ant and they eat sly's dong.
