remakes are for poosays and they are getting more and more sickening every year. the newest one is billy bob thornton playing freddy kruger. how effing lame do you have to be to "remake" a movie that had around a half dozen parts to it???

I wouldnt want them to remake it. The cast was just too perfect, the leads anyways

Me neither. Who wants to see a remake anyways? Wait til the 80s generation is dead and buried before you think about doing a remake.

I don't know about the kids-but putting the original leads in the parents roles would be classic.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT REMAKES. GROW UP. JUST BECAUSE A MOVIE _CAN_ BE REMADE, DOESN'T MEAN IT _SHOULD_ BE. WATCH THE ORIGINAL. ENJOY THE ORIGINAL.

EVERY REMAKE SUCKS. LOOKS AROUND HERE ON IMDB.

There's an episode of Full House that is a remake of this. I wanted to know what the original movie was like.

It was remade in Puerto Rico - but the remake isn't exactly legal:
