Do you think the car chase could have used more collateral damage?

I feel that Chance only getting one FBI agent killed was good, but it would have been more dramatic if he was forced to take the lives of others, such as the back up agents. Imagine if the back up agents radioed any LAPD to help, and Chance and Vokovich were forced to run over motorcycle cops and kill them, as well as having to shoot and kill LAPD officers in uniform, knowing that they had to kill them in order to keep from going to jail.

I feel this would have made the movie a lot darker from then on, if Chance had to kill more officers to prevent from being arrested, or to prevent the officers from being eyewitnesses later. What do you think?

They would've been screwed then. I think the fact that only one got killed and that it was an undercover operation, probably rendering it out of the LAPD's radar really saved both of them.

I get what you're trying to say though, and it would definitely fit the movie's themes.
