Date when released???

I hear many different release/production dates. Lloyd himself has stated that the film was made in 1983 and released in '84. But on wikipedia it says it was released in late '85 and even 1986...

It definately seems like a 1983/1984 production, and 1985 and 1986 seem too new for it.

So what's the deal?

i bet a soda for 1983, too many people with silly fashion circa early 80s.

I think it was filmed in 1983 and released in 1985.
