Anyone know of any other films similar to "TTTB"?
I've seen "In the Company of Strangers" which is a very good film as well.
But I love films like these, and would love more titles??

Similar in that it is another stage play by Horton Foote,
"Convicts" takes place on the Gulf Coast in the post Civil war times.
The characters are real, and their interactions (it was orignally a stage play) are facinating.
It mainly involves a young boy and a senile (or drunk) plantation owner, and some ex slaves set over a few hours on Christmas eve.
It is not a copy of the story A Trip to Bountiful, at all,
but is is about life, death and how we are all convicts on this earth.
Convicts is a very good one.

I see it’s been six years since you posted this, but I agree The Straight Story is so good. Harry Dean Stanton at the end was perfect. I also love Nebraska.
