Yes. This is a comedy classic from the undisputed King of teen comedy.
It’s my favourite John Hughes film. It’s hilarious and bursting with creativity and that personal touch - completely unlike Hollywood movies today. It’s a true auteur piece.
The pacing and structure are perfect, and every gag hits, many of them absolutely smash. Practically the entire film is quotable.
This thing should be minimum 7.8
Perhaps it’s just too creative and too bizarre for some smaller brained audiences?
I remembered it being popular in theaters at the time but 40 years later it probably managed to piss off woke generations for objectifying Kelly LeBrock.
