It's how it moves so smoothly from fairly humorous to dark to utterly gut wrenching.
Watching this poor nieve couple wait for help that we all know isn't coming while they slowly and unknowingly die from radiation poisoning.
The end scene will stick with me forever.
A brilliant yet heartbreaking movie.
