Is this the best soundtrack from the 80's

Wow the themes stand up as much today as they did then. Waters is truly a brilliant mind.

Roger Waters is really under-appreicated. His side is pretty great, the most conistant Pink Floyd related release to date since "Animals".

Love the David Bowie song, the 80's are universally regarded as his worst decade but this track along with his 2 other 1986 movie themes, "Absolute Beginers" and "Underground", is one of his best singles ever.

Like the Hugh Corwell track, but can't remember what else is on it.

Buy it for the Waters and Bowie stuff and you won't be disappointed.

Lovely movie also, so glad it's finally on DVD.

"I think you're a load of old crap too, Mr Mulligan!"

Fantastic soundtrack here that genuinely complements the theme of the film. Roger Waters' songs are fantastic, and I think Bowie was still strong in his weakest decade. The Genesis, Squeeze, Hugh Cornwell and Paul Hardcastle songs are excellent also, though used very subtly.
