This is the ultimate cliche of "cult film in the making"

So, if any distribution companies are reading this, release this film on DVD. It's been rarely seen since the '80's, and has a rare power, so it deserves to be given an audience in these war-weary times...

I'll add my voice to that, although I've just paid 23 GB Pounds for a copy on e-Bay, so I'll be a little annoyed if they do it straight away!

I'd love a copy... can stick it alongside my copy of watrship Down!

horrorhag>> you lucky...
I'm about to shell out £20 inc p&p for When the Wind Blows on Amazon.
People are willing to spend a lot of money on this film, so I figure it must be pretty good. I have seen it before, but it was a long time ago and I can't remember any of it.
I also have Watership Down (original recording off TV) and Plague Dogs on video.
P.S. My Neighbor Totoro... quality film (dare I say better than Spirited Away...?)

...and "Plague Dogs".

"I think you're a load of old crap too, Mr Mulligan!"

Plague Dogs is out on DVD in the UK. I would LOVE to see WTWB on any DVD. I first saw it along with MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO and LITTLE NEMO: ADVENTURES IN SLUMBERLAND in the early 90's and those three films completely changed my life.

I recently bought the graphic book on Ebay and it still has the same effect as the film, so beautiful, so tragic, so chilling, so traumatic.... It really should be released on DVD, I remember the music from it, a Bowie thing, so appropriate in its haunting melody.....
