I really wish a special edition Blu Ray of this movie would come out. I mean think about the extras alone....the interviews with the cast....the differences between the movie and what really happened....etc. Would LOVE to see a Blu Ray edition of this classic! Anyone else??

Geez, took the words out of my mouth. So true. I remember describing this movie to a coworker in like 2000... It was my absolute favorite and i was a single mom of a 2 year old who stayed home and worked night and day to support her. Im undereducated but I just needed to be able to communicate the cinematography. The opening shot and credits being a favorite of mine. I just felt they were special. Searched endlessly for a soundtrack, nothing. I found the VHS that year (2000)on eBay and eventually the DVD later on in the same way. Nothing but the trailer on that. Do people not feel my passion??? This movie and it's story deserved more! Please I'd be the first in line for a special edition. Would love to hear the actors view and see something regarding the making of this story. Please, take me back!!
shareI keep checking the upcoming blu ray releases and At Close Range is no where to be found. Really kind of sad if you ask me. With it being a true story the extras alone would be enough to make a 2 disc blu ray set and I'd love to see a look inside the making of the film.

shareTwilight Time released it on Blu ray last year. It has a director's commentary, an isolated score and a theatrical trailer. I picked it up for about $30, which is quite expensive when you include shipping, but it was well worth the price. The transfer was excellent, with fantastic PQ. It's a limited edition so get in there fast!
