One of Walken's best roles

Without a question. But I feel its being overlooked too much today. When his best performances are mentioned, this seems to get neglected. Wonder why? Maybe because people are not used to seeing him play a hillbilly? But he sure did a great job portraying one, the hairdo, the clothes, the overall look and mannerisms were all dead on- the true hillbilly or redneck alphamale crimelord. And he had a few really great lines as well. In the scene where he whacks Tommy, I still get the chills watching him talk about the coyote female.

My theory on Feds is that they're like mushrooms: feed them *beep* keep them in the dark.

There were times, i wish he wasn't acting so well... I didn't like witnessing his rage against poor little Mary Stuart Masterson.... It seemed too real.

He certainly should have been nominated Supp. Actor.

He should have.
