Back in the day, John Hughes talked to Matthew briefly about maybe having Ferris go to college. I always thought they should wait until Matthew and I are in our 70s. Cameron's in a nursing home, and Ferris comes and breaks him out!"

My wife and I have been enjoying the Cobra Kai reboot series and were discussing what other 80s movies would make fun series. One of the ones we thought of was Pretty In Pink. Of course, many of the actors probably take themselves too seriously to do something like this.

I hadn't thought of Ferris Bueller, but maybe this one would make a good series as well.
