Did Jeanie get a speeding ticket ?

She’s being chased by a cop. And then when they get to the house her mom tells her father she got a speeding ticket. But she apparently didn’t lose any time whatsoever in her race home with Ferris ?

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a cop take less than at least 15 minutes to distribute a speeding ticket, let alone instantaneously. It usually takes them at least 10 minutes just to park the park, walk to your car, ask the typical questions, look at your license and registration, scratch their fat ass 10 times, and then walk back to the cop car. Then looking up all your information and filling out the ticket is gonna take at least another 10 minutes. Then they have to get out of their car and walk to your car again as slow as possible so they can tell you how lucky you are because they’re only giving you a ticket for 10mph over instead of 15mph and where the court is at.
