So, why no Queen involvement in the sequels?

Freddie Mercury passed away in 1991, might have had something to do with it you think?...

Also Queen was not some second-rate combo trying to cling on past successes, but instead renewed itself constantly, until Mercury died. I am sure if someone asked May and Taylor today, they would totally do it.
