what happened to Dr. Jenning?

I believe he lived, the Dark Overloard is ejected from his body when Howard blasts him with the neutron accelerator or whatever. Then howard blasts the alien destroying it, and the third and final blast destroys the laser that brought him to earth to begin with.

So while i dont recall seeing it I believe the doctor lived.

well he survived long enough to have the overloard leave his body, i think if he had died in the chaos after with the explosions and all, we woulda had some scene showing as much.

he should have stayed possessed and become the keyboard player in Beverly's band...imagine seeimg him standing there trying to play looking the way he did...its gold i tell ya!! it would make Jason Vorhees's keyboard playing attempt on Arsenio Hall seem tame by compairison.

He didn't die. The overlord eventually was taken out of him and he was normal again. However, the other overlords were coming down so Howard had to either destroy the laser which would mean he'd have to stay on Earth, or let the overlords take over and he gets on the laser and goes home. Personally, I wouldn't have blamed Howard for choosing the latter.

He walked into a nuclear reactor when he was possessed by a gigantic demon who was mutating his flesh, guts and organs from inside out. He then gets fried by a neutron accelerator - the world's most powerful laser weapon. He's fine.
