Howard should cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy

Pretty much the title says it all... Howard should cameo in Guardian of the Galaxy. Just have him do some crazy antic in the background while the crew is walking through the prison or a busy spaceport street. Howard was keen on using violence in the comic so maybe he'd be harassing some other alien out there at blaster point etc. :)

This would make my day, especially since Stan Lee won't be making a cameo in GotG. I actually finally watched Howard the Duck because Rocket Racoon made me want to watch the other anthropomorphic Marvel character's movie.

Doubt it will happen, but that might have been funny, and something for fans. The average viewer probably wouldn't know who it is, so nothing more than passing in the background would've worked.

Dude, I was just coming here to say this. How awesome would a Howard the Duck cameo be? He should appear as their agent or something, wise talk them out of a situation or into some hot tail.

Seems like your wish came true:

Marvel legend Howard the Duck is somewhere to be found in the film. This inference comes from a line in the end titles that credits co-creators Steve Gerber and Val Mayerik. Whether it’s just a film/comic Peter Quill was familiar with before he was abducted from Earth or we’re about to have a new entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is just about anyone’s guess.

Yup! Apparantly he can be seen for a good ten seconds to the right of the screen when the Guardians first meet 'The Collector', although poor Howard is seen in the background as part of the collection.

Looks like your dream has came true...Stan Lee is indeed in GotG and Howard the Duck appears with The Collector in a scene that plays after the credits......
