I'm surprised at the threads here.

A lot of people saw this when they were kids. Wasn't this rated R?

reply

It's PG.

Duck boobs pass at the censors because it was a puppet and not technically a naked female actress lol

You're a troll.

It was the 80s, man. I'd seen so many boobs by the time I was 10.

Why would it be rated R? Because of duck tits?

reply

I remember liking the movie waaay back as a teen, but I don't think it was rated R, think it was PG and mostly for the language. I remember the language being pretty bad in Howard the Duck. (yes even as a KID I didn't like cursing). And many movies back then would be rated R for the cursing alone. Airplane (which is now re-rated at PG-13) was rated R, and Pulp Fiction was rated R (well for language among other things...). Still is. My mom wanted to introduce Back to the Future to my kids one weekend. She almost turned it off. She didn't remember all the cursing in it... yet, just because I showed Hellboy 1 & 2 to my 9 year old, my MOM then showed BOTH my kids Jaws... before we went ot the beach! Figure that one out... (my youngest is 5...). So unless they skipped that part. My 5 year old has now seen a nude woman eaten by a shark now in a movie....great.

Tired of people telling me how young I am when I feel so old...
