I don't think it was awful. I remember leaving the theater somewhat bewildered, though. I'm not familiar with the background material that this was based on.
I think if you 'get it', this could be pretty good.
It's a wacky comedy about a talking duckman from outer space who gets into a crazy adventure involving 80's rock bands and alien monsters. You either have to enjoy the campy tone or don't.
