Richard Dreyfuss

For years I thought Dreyfuss was the voice of Howard.

I just wanted to believe he was a real duck-man =(

It would be nice to see a sequel, produced by Marvel Studios and released by Disney!

Link it up with Guardians of the Galaxy for his appearance in there.

Yep I thought he would have made an appearance by now after that end credits bit. Whatever happens he'll look better than he did in 1986, and get Dreyfuss to voice him after all.

If the sequel (or reboot) was done like the comics, it could be quite interesting. Howard is more of a Deadpool type of character.

Howard's adventures are generally social satires, while a few are parodies of genre fiction with a metafictional awareness of the medium. The book is existentialist, and its main joke, according to Gerber, is that there is no joke: "that life's most serious moments and most incredibly dumb moments are often distinguishable only by a momentary point of view."

Deadpool, Howard and a new movie for The Mask would make a good set, the characters all have similarities in concept.

Dreyfuss would be ideal for that sarcastic side of Howard, thats why I thought he'd voiced the original for all those years not just in the similarities of the voice but the sarcy delivery as well.

The Mask was decent but I've avoided the sequel for obvious reasons.
