2016 will mark 30 years for Iron Eagle
January 17, 2016 will mark 30 years since Iron Eagle came out. it follows Air Force brat, Doug Masters and retired Air Force Pilot Col. Charles "Chappy" Sinclair took off on their own rescue mission in two F-16s to rescue Doug's father, Col. Ted Masters who got shot down behind enemy lines by a squadron of mirage-based MiG-23s. it starred Oscar winner, Louis Gossett, Jr. as Col. Charles "Chappy" Sinclair, Jason Gedrick as Doug Masters and Tim Thomerson as Doug's father, Col. Ted Masters. Iron Eagle has great dogfighting sequences which was done in Israel Between the F-16s and the Kfirs as the MiG-23s.
