Come on now, accept it for what it is, and enjoy the cheesyness. I actually really like this movie, but it's probably because I was 12 when it came out in theatres, and steered away from a lot of the typical Hollywood crap. There's no romance, no subplot, or "realism", just a good soundtrack, Lou Gossett, and a bunch of teens making the US Air Force look like the Keystone Cops. How could it get any better??
