what are the enemy planes?

They are Israeli Aircraft called Kfirs(spelling). They have a few of these at a company called ATAC in Newport News Virginia. They are used as an agressor aircraft for Navy exercises.

That's right... and just for the record, the Kfir wasn't entirely original. It was based on the frame of the French Mirage jet, but was fitted with an American engine instead, a Pratt & Whitney I believe. Before this they'd been using Mirages as their flagship fighter, but France embargoed arms sales to Israel so they went with the "Kfir" hybrid instead.
