Who were the most likable characters?

"Platoon" had many heels and there are a few threads about it. Who were the most likable characters?

reply

johnny depps character, chris, elias, francis, king

reply

All the pot smokers were the most likable. The boozers were the most unlikable. Oliver Stone's propaganda, LOL

Rodriguez was the oddity and participated in neither.

reply

I really didn't like Chris. I don't knew why, just something about his character irritated me. He seemed way too self-righteous to me. I liked Elias.

reply

King was the most likeable. Chris, Francis, Rhah, Elias were very likeable as well.

I'd like to have Bunny in my foxhole though. I'd make sure his weapons were clean and that he had plenty of ammo so I'd have a one man Army on my hands!

Shall we play a game?

reply

King was far and away my favorite character... I loved him. Also especially liked Rhah, Lerner, Big Harold, Crawford, Francis and I guess Chris.

Big Harold, Gardner and Doc

King. Actually he was the only one I liked. I was glad his character got out of there.

King, Elias and Rhah. I actually liked O'Neil even though he was unlikeable.

If God exists, why did he make me an atheist? That's his first mistake. That and the talking snake.

reply

King...came across as a really cool dude who took the FNG under his wing and showed him the ropes.

reply

Yes, most veterans either bullied FNGs or avoided them in case their inexperience caused damage and risk in their vicinity. It was the good guys who actually tried to help the FNGs.
