Is it possible Platoon is the only "perfect" movie ever made?

Ok, ever since I saw Platoon I've always said it's my favorite movie. Other movies at the top of my list are Jaws, Back to the Future, Sling Blade, Hoosiers, Sling Blade, Let it Ride(guilty pleasure), and a few others.

Almost every movie has at least one scene that isn't all that. For instance in Sling Blade the scene where Karl has a date or in Back to the Future where Marty plays the guitar or in Jaws where the wife is drinking with Brody. Godfather has a few, not many, boring scenes. The beginning of The Exorcist is almost insufferable.

Some movies that come close to perfect are Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Terminator, and many more greats.

However, in Platoon I can't think of one scene that isn't perfect from the opening shot to the end credits. Of course, I'm biased but maybe it's true that Platoon is "The only perfect movie ever made".

Charlie Sheen's performance was off in some scenes and the editing was strange in some scenes. But it is better than Full Metal Jacket.

Agree Platoon is superior to FMJ, FMJ was shot in England, and looks nothing like Hue city, Lee Ermey was the only good part, And even Kubrick at times didn't know how to finish the ending, asking the actors for suggestions, and what a horrible ending it was..

Stone had Platoon written years before, and everything detailed perfectly, great story telling, while yet being very realistic.
Lee Ermeys "Siege Of FireBase Gloria" was better than FMJ.

I watched Platoon a few days ago and the major issue I have with it is the fight between Barns and Elias. I found it somewhat "ruining" the movie for me because as much as Oliver tries to create a realistic movie I dont believe that scenario one bit.
