What Is The Movie That Shows Booby Trapped American Soldiers

accidentally stepping into holes in the ground(connected to the enemies' underground tunnels)carved out by the Phillipine/Vietnamese/Japanese? The soldiers end up with their upper torso above ground and their lower torso below ground and the enemies' start poking/stabbing them with sharp sticks?It's a vague memory but I know I saw it in a movie(1980s-1990s era?).Thanks everyone! IJA
