I remember watching the opening titles when I was a kid and would just watch the movie if it was on for the opening cartoon and that kickin' 80's song and that was it, then when I got older I watched the rest of the movie and loved it.
"Snuffles was my slave name, you shall now call me Snowball."
Nope... When I was in high school, for the first 3 years, I had a buddy across the street and he and I would go to at least a movie a week. The guy running the local theater didn't worry too much about age, so the ratings didn't stop us either. I saw this along with almost every good movie(and some bombs) in the latter half of the 80s just because it was the movie that was playing that week. Obviously, I got lucky with this one, I still love it.
Those opening titles are awesome, though.
