I liked it allright, though not greatly-so I guess I'd be in the middle. But I did only see it once, and have never had any desire to see it again. But due to this one time I saw it it does have three big distinctions among movies in theaters for me. My, mother, sister, and I went over to Rock Hill, SC to see the 1:00 p.m. showing at the Cinema 4 on Thursday, July 17, 1986. It was the only movie they saw in a theater that year, and one of only 3 I saw, but I had just graduated from high school on Saturday, June 7, 1986, and thus it was the first movie I ever saw in a theater after this (and as a high school graduate). I then took a driver's class in Rock Hill for two weeks in late July-early August, 1986, and then got my first drivers liscence on Wednesday, August 6, 1986--so it was also the last movie I ever went to in a theater before I became a liscened driver and could drive myself. And the Charlotte/York County area was in a record setting hot and dry summer in 1986, and after we left this theater and were driving down Cherry Road in Rock Hill a little after 3:00 we passed a digital clock/thermometer, which read 100 degrees (with a heat index well above 100). We did notice that, but were not suprised at all, as it was typical of what it had been around there since early June. And I know this makes it the movie I saw in a theater when it was the hottest outside (and this showing was pretty crowded, that is probably why). Now, I love this type of weather, and this year (2008) has the same day/date correspondence as 1986, and it is predicted the weather will be like this again here this summer, so maybe I could go back to this theater (now Cinema 7, and a second run one) by walking (I'm up in Charlotte now with no car) one day this July, and have a very similair experience 22 years later, and one I'd love and thrive with.
