EALING STUDIO COMEDY WITH SAME PLOT

There's this brittish black and white white comedy with a gang kidnapping the wiffy of a Billy something character.
The husband is portrayed by a classic 50s 60s brittish comedian with a hook moustache and two rabbit front teeth with a gap between them.He has a strong brittish accent.
ANYONE?

The actor sounds like, Terry-Thomas.
Don't know the film, though.
