What are you guys? CRAZY? This deserves over a 7 at least! Even if you haven't seen this and are planning to see it, rate it a 10 anyways! It's hilarious! One of my favourite comedies ever. Bette Midler is amazing in this movie. She is so funny. But I am still disappointed in the voters that gave this a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and even a 6. Tsk Tsk Tsk on you. Oh well, good movie though!

This is one of the funniest movies ever!
You have to remember that these ratings only get as much votes as people who come to the movie's page. New movies currently in theaters repeatedly get in the top 250 because there's all these brain-dead drones that vote any movie they "kinda liked" a 10, and I think it's fair to say a movie has its most exposure during its initial theater run. In other words, it's a popularity contest. That's all it is. I love, love, LOVE Ruthless People, but the movie's about 20 years old now, and a lot of people have forgotten about it. Even if people really liked this movie, they're not necessarily going to remember it enough to go to imdb's page about it and vote for it. Heck, even myself, I'm just now seeing Ruthless People for the first time in about 5 years...I forgot about it.
