Son of a motherless.. huh?

Remember when 'goat' used to be a demonic symbol, and thus an insult. Nowadays people call you goat when they want to praise you. Is this world being turned into hell?

In any case, how does it work?

How can a goat be motherless? Is Lucky Day trying to imply the goat was artificially inseminated? No, that would be 'fatherless' (and even then, they would have a father, just a virginal birth).

Are they trying to imply there are artificial wombs in 1986 that can be used to breed goats? And WHY GOATS?

Nothing about this insult makes any sense. How can a goat be motherless, and yet breed a son? Does the son have a mother, though? So many questions..

"Motherless son of a goat" would make a bit more sense, because it would more directly insult YOU - although it would also grant you some kind of supernatural powers, because you were able to be somehow born without (or outside) of a mother.

So if that's the case, why not just say 'artificially gestated' instead of 'motherless'? It doesn't specify how the 'motherlessness' came about, and thus the insult doesn't really make sense. For it to have weight, it would have to specify how someone can be born without a mother, and then THAT thing would have to be universally 'shameful', like artificial gestation might be.

Of course this can mean that they no longer have a mother, because the mother is dead or something, but it's still a bit confusing, as even this is not specified.

It COULD of course be an implication that the mother hates him so much, she moved to a faraway country just to be away from the son.

However, I don't think the writers of this joke gave it this much thought.. but I'd still like to know what the F and how is this supposed to make sense.
