I don't think Jacob would ever transform -Vincent was born 'different' & remained so as he grew up -Jacob was born human, like Catherine -But there's probably some fan-fiction with this type of theme -I'm not a fan of the new series -I watched only 3 eps & it just wasn't my cup of tea

Well, Jacob did seem to inherit certain traits from Vincent. They were both seriously ill as newborns, produced odd blood work results, and the little guy may well have his father's empathic abilities. He always seemed like he..."knew," despite being an infant.

I dare say whatever that creep Gabriel had had planned for him wouldn't have worked too well, even if he'd managed to keep Jacob alive without Vincent. The wisdom that seemed to emanate from that kid was almost spooky at times.
