Again, that's only on the dvd's openings.
I think it has the do with the fact that the studio used the first opening credit for all the other episodes as well.
Before the dvd's were released I had all the episodes tv taped from TV and none of the opening credits after Renn's departure had her name in it.
Right, I was just wondering why the credits were like that initially because I thought maybe since I was so young during the initial run/reruns airing that I had overlooked some Renn episodes.
Renn made the decision to leave herself. She wanted more character development for her character. But since Edie wasn't a main character this wasn't going to happen and she choose to leave. But it would have been nice if Edie had been written out. But then again, since they handled Linda Hamilton's departure in an unpleasant way I wonder if the producers of BatB were very nice when it came to people leaving their show.
See watching the series it seems (or perhaps it was just my hope) that they were going to expand her character role a bit, so I don't blame her for that. I also wish they had dealt with Linda leaving in a much better way. So yeah, it seems that they were not very good at maintaining relationships with the actors, and allowing them to leave peacefully and growing inside or outside of the show. Perhaps they took it too personally.
Rest in Peace Nelson Mandela, Madiba we love you!
