That was great that she mentioned us! -I was there in San Diego & met her, she was very nice & even donated a pair of her jeans for the charity auction! -And I am one of those fans who would love a tv movie reuniting C&V -But I'm more flexible than most -I wouldn't mind a younger cast so the story could take up only a month after Catherine's 'death' so Vincent could find her & live happily ever after w/their son Jacob -But I also would love it if Linda H. could play just a few minutes as the modern day Catherine & we could see an adult Jacob as well!!! -I'm quite greedy I suppose :)

Beauty and Beast aaah, revisiting all episodes. Read interview with Linda Hamilton who says her grown children would think B and B is so well, cheesy. Yes it is. But I for one am getting so tired of endless murders on tv. Murders murders murders. Even L and O seems to be running out of material. And poetry, the only poetry you see on TV now is a quote at the beginning and end of Criminal Minds. I think we could do with a lot more poetry. I would definitely watch a continuation of this series if done with quality. The conflict is built in, the son of Catherine and Vincent, the conflict is so internal it could be fascinating. Please not a ruination of something fine. Realize its difficult. For example Witches of Eastwist trying to make that wonderful movie into a TV series failed miserably. Acting and writing both abominable. Linda watch it again. Its cheesy but in such a wonderful way. Touches on all human emotions. Your kids will appreciate it someday I hope.

I would tell her I will love the show till the day I die, BATB was just so beautifully done and Vincent is the reason I held on to my virtue and waited till I find true love.

I sometimes day dream of a BATB movie reboot, one where it retalls the story, same thing only with added stuff. Stuff that I got from the graphic novels and the books and maybe have Linda play Catherine's mother.

After seeing Beastly and was crushed by it, I returned to watching the series.

If I had the chance to talk to her I would tell her that B&B changed my life. My then-husband was jealous of my attachment to the series but would never watch it to see what drew me. That was the tip of the iceberg of our problems. It was B&B that gave me the courage to leave that miserable excuse for a marriage and look for a better life.

Suffice to say I found not one--but two!

I've not yet seen "Grimm" (will post when I have - probably tomorrow) though it's very premise does sound like "procedural with a twist" (the twist being they're monsters) but "Once Upon A Time" was hardly violent (certainly no more than BatB). I thought it was quite charming, one of my favourite shows so far this year. It could all go downhill, of course.

No tears please, it's a waste of good suffering.

Having watched both this season's "fairy tale" pilots now, "Once" is the clear winner for me. It's like "The 10th Kingdom" meets "Twin Peaks" while "Grimm" (as the trailer makes it clear) seems to be going for a Buffy/Angel/Supernatural with a bit of cop show thrown in to drag in the "I hate SciFi" viewers.

As for violence levels: "Once" pretty low - a swordfight - and "Grimm" - think Buffy/Angel (though the main villain was planning on eating (and possibly otherwise abusing?) a young child. That said, when BatB was first shown here in the UK many episodes were not broadcast as they were deemed too violent for their mid-evening timeslot!

No tears please, it's a waste of good suffering.
