Oh, there are real Don Simmonses out there, all right. Some of them sing on music CDs meant for young children. In my job I have to make occasional visits to a store that sells products for toddlers and new mothers, and on the 'kiddie CDs' they play over their sound system, some of the vocal performances make my brain crawl, especially when they're singing what had been Black spirituals... OH, NO, HELP!!!
