I watched tonight and noticed something...

Does anyone know when Kelly Preston and John Travolta got married? Because I watched "Amazon" tonight for the first time in years, and Kelly Preston and Joey Travolta were both in the film.

I just wondered if they were together or if this is how they met (through his brother) or if that is just a coincidence.

John and Kelly were married in 1991, a good five or six years after this movie was made. Also, Kelly was involved with Charlie Sheen and George Clooney before she married John.

You know, the easy way to find this is to look at the trivia for either John Travolta or Kelly Preson right here on IMDB, where it's spelled out plain as day. Since you're obviously too lazy to do a little bit of work to find the answer, both pages clearly state that they met while making 'The Experts' together in 1989. And wouldn't that seem more likely than them meeting through his brother, who appeared in this movie with her, but NEVER in the same scenes??

Come on, people . . . . . the internet is at your disposal, try searching it before asking stupid questions.

Well, if that was my intent, I'd be pretty pathetic indeed . . . . just happened to notice it as I was looking for something else, and it struck me the wrong way. Didn't even check the dates, which is the error on my part . . . . so sorry I offended you. And I didn't even have to call you a name to do it - does that mean I'm better than you?

reply

yeah - better at being a prick.

And welcome back to fifth grade . . . .

Shall I say 'Am not' so you can say 'Are too,' and assume it would go on as long as I have the patience to put up with your stupidity? I stand by the original comment - you were too lazy to bother looking it up, and now you're too lazy to post an intelligent rebuttal. If pointing it out makes me a prick, then call me Mr. Prick and see if I care. It certainly won't stop me calling out the stupid, lazy, ignorant Americans I happen to come across in this world (and yes, I AM an American myself - born, bred, and somewhat ashamed of the fact) - even if it is over something minor.

I know you are, but what am I?

Well then, Mr. Prick it is.

I think anyone who's trying to prove their intellectual worth through a message board for "Amazon Women on the Moon" really does deserve the title Mr. Prick.
