Kersey is getting lazy with his lady friends

When his girl in Death Wish 3 eats it he ran down a hill toward the burning car that broke in half for some reason, but the flames kept him from rescuing her. In this movie he just walks away.

Best part was, the car was rolling downhill at like only 20 to 30 mph before it blew to hell.
